Hello, I’m Sarah, Planting Designer and Founding Director of Discovering Gardens. I’ve been creating beautiful gardens since 2010.
After working in the garden design field for many years, my avid love of plants led me to specialise in Planting Design, where I use my established and much-loved expertise in plants to create gorgeous gardens for my clients.
I trained at the renowned Capel Manor College in London, and I have completed my training in Permaculture Design and Engaging Children in Permaculture, which beautifully supports my passion for growing food and creating sustainable gardens that support our native wildlife.
I’ve also mentored many garden professionals who want to build confidence with their own plant knowledge, and I’ve taught many beginners about different elements of garden design, plant choices, and creating sustainable gardens.
